New playground for Netherton Infants School

We were excited to be involved with providing a new playground, with artificial grass and a new fence, for the children of Netherton Infants School in Maryport, which was opened by Maryport Paralympian Simon Lawson. Coombe and Sharpe undertook this project and Alan Sharpe, who was present at the opening to hand over the facility, commented that the company would be donating some play equipment too.

Headteacher Lynn Millingham said the new playground is “an exciting opportunity for the children to get active”.  She added that the new playground would be usable in all weathers, provided more space and also a designated area for sports.

See the Times & Star article and video about the opening.
